Monthly Micro Goals: Small Steps Toward Financial Freedom
Happy Friday ya'll & thank you so much for stopping by this little space I call home on the internet — yay! Today I'm sharing my monthly micro goals list to keep myself focused and hold myself accountable on my financial freedom journey. 💗
Breaking big dreams into small, actionable steps is where the magic happens — and that's exactly what micro goals are all about! If you haven't read my Financial Goals: Baby Steps post yet, go check that out first — it pairs perfectly with this one!
💸 Financial Micro Goals
Make a contribution to my SIMPLE IRA, woo-hoo! If you're just getting started with retirement investing, The Little Book of Common Sense Investing by John C. Bogle is a wonderful place to begin.
Stay on top of any upcoming tax deadlines — getting organized ahead of time saves so much stress! A personal finance organizer binder is a great tool for keeping all your documents in one place.
Make a contribution to my Emergency Fund — every little bit counts! 🎉
Make a contribution to my Tiny House Savings, yay!
Enroll in and complete a Driver's Safety Course online to potentially lower my car insurance.
Look into refinancing my car loan.
Create a new monthly budget. A monthly budget planner makes this so much easier and more fun!

Start the Oracle Card Project, yay!
📚 Personal Growth Micro Goals
Walk at least 10,000 steps daily to get that inspiration flowing! A fitness tracker makes hitting that goal so satisfying.
Finish reading Made Whole by Tiffany Aliche — such a powerful book on financial wholeness! Grab your copy here if you haven't read it yet. 💗
💗 Personal Care Is Part of the Plan Too
When you're going after your BIG DREAMS, it's super important to get into the flow, honor yourself, and make personal care an absolute PRIORITY. Here's a brain dump of self-care ideas I'm incorporating into my life right now:
Taking bubble baths with fresh rose petals — treat yourself! A rose petal bath set makes this feel so luxurious.
Walking it out, yo!
Taking ballet lessons at the local community college.
Drinking tea — a cozy tea sampler set is pure self-care in a cup.
Journaling — a beautiful guided journal can make this practice feel extra special every day.
Your Turn! 💗
What monthly micro goals are YOU working toward right now? Whether it's saving for an emergency fund, starting a side hustle, or simply drinking more tea — every small step counts on your path to financial freedom!
