π What Actually Happened This Weekend β The Honest Version
Okay so here is the real honest update lol ππ
I had an unexpected visitor this past weekend.
And honestly?
Life just happened.
So across Days 10, 11 and 12:
I only posted once per day on the Noise app
I did not walk on Days 10 and 11
I did a quick 10 minute MadFit upper body workout on Day 10
Day 11 I honestly just relaxed and slept all day
I was feeling a little nostalgic and emotionally drained
And Day 12 I got back up and walked my 10K steps π
And you know what?
I also lost weight this weekend lol ππ
Which honestly feels a little crae crae to me lol ππ
But I will take it!
π΄ On the Day I Just Slept and Rested
I want to talk about Day 11 for a second.
Because I just⦠rested.
All day.
I was feeling nostalgic.
A little sad.
Emotionally drained.
And honestly?
The old me would have beaten herself up for that.
The old me would have said:
"You are falling behind."
"You are failing."
"You need to start all over."
"You are not doing enough."
But this newer version of me?
She looked at that rest day and said:
π "You needed that. And that is okay."
Because honestly?
Rest is not failure.
Emotional days are not failure.
Unexpected visitors and slower weekends are not failure.
They are just:
π life. π
π΄ Getting Back on the Horse β The Most Important Lesson
Okay this is honestly the part of this update I am most excited to share.
Because I had a realization this weekend that felt really significant.
Before β when I wasn't perfect or when I had human moments where I needed a break β I would force myself to start all over.
Like completely from scratch.
Like the whole thing was ruined.
Like one imperfect day meant total failure.
And I used to feel like such a failure because of it.
But this time around?
Something is different.
Because every time I think I am falling off the horseβ¦
β¦I keep being reminded that it is okay.
It does not mean disaster.
It does not mean failure.
It does not mean starting all over.
It just means:
π tomorrow you get back up on the horse and keep going.
That is it.
That is the whole thing.
That is the secret π
π "Falling off the horse is not failure. Staying off the horse is. Every single day you choose to get back up is a victory worth celebrating."
π The Five Minute Journal
One of the things that genuinely helps me get back on the horse after the harder days π Just 5 minutes in the morning to reset, refocus, and remind yourself why you started. Perfect for anyone rebuilding their life one imperfect day at a time.

π» 5 More Sunflowers Planted for Mom!
Okay I saved the best update for last ππ
This weekend I planted 5 more sunflowers β this time in the back of my mother's apartment.
So that when they bloomβ¦
β¦they will bloom right in front of her apartment window.
π» New sunflowers planted: 5 more!
π Location: Back of mom's apartment β blooming right in front of her window π»
And honestly?
I cannot even put into words how much joy this brings me ππ
Because my mom is still bedridden.
And being able to give her something beautiful to look forward toβ¦
β¦something growing right outside her windowβ¦
β¦feels like one of the most loving things I can do right now π
And honestly?
I think there is something so deeply healing about planting things when life feels hard.
Because every seed you plant is a quiet act of hope that says:
π I believe something beautiful is coming. ππ»
π± Root Chakra Reflection: Imperfection Is Part of the Journey
Days 10 through 12 of this 90-day Noise app experiment taught me something I want to hold onto for the rest of this challenge:
π imperfection is not the opposite of progress.
It is just part of it.
The unexpected visitor.
The rest days.
The emotional Sunday.
The one post instead of six.
The day I just slept.
All of it is part of the journey.
All of it is valid.
And all of it still counts π
π "You do not have to be perfect to be making progress. You just have to keep going β even imperfectly β and that is always enough."
π What I'm Focusing on Going Forward
Getting back to consistent daily posting on the Noise app π
Getting back to walking 10K steps daily β Day 63 here we come! π
Watching that $30 credit card payment post
Watering all those beautiful sunflowers π»
Being gentle with myself as I get back into the full routine
And remembering that getting back on the horse IS the win π
πΆ WalkingPad P1 Folding Treadmill
Getting back on the walking pad after a couple of rest days felt so good π This little walking pad has made it so easy to get back into my routine no matter what life throws my way. If you have been wanting to start your own walking habit β this is the one.

π¬ Final Thoughts on Days 10-12
Days 10, 11 and 12 were not my most consistent days of this challenge.
And honestly?
That is completely okay.
Because the old me would have used these days as evidence that she was a failure and needed to start all over.
But this newer version of me?
She is using these days as evidence that:
π she is human.
π she is healing.
π and she always gets back on the horse.
And honestly?
That feels like the biggest win of all ππ»
