Welcome back to my little corner of the internet πŸ’—

I'm officially on Day 29 of my 90-day Noise app experiment…

And honestly?

Today is one of those days where I have to practice what I preach.

Because today was a rest day.

No walking.

No weight lifting.

Just…

πŸ‘‰ rest.

And I'm choosing to be okay with that πŸ’—

πŸ’Š Picking Up My High Dose Vitamin D

One thing I did accomplish today that felt really important:

πŸ‘‰ I went to the pharmacy and picked up my high dose Vitamin D prescription.

I'll be on it for 8 weeks as part of addressing my severe Vitamin D deficiency.

And honestly?

That felt like an act of self love today.

Because it would have been SO easy to:

  • push it off

  • say I'd get it tomorrow

  • put myself last again

But I didn't.

I went.

I got it.

And I started taking care of myself πŸ’—

πŸ’— "Sometimes the most important thing you can do on a hard day is one small act of self care. Even if that's just picking up a prescription."

😴 The Exhaustion Is Real Right Now

I want to be honest with you today.

I did not sleep well last night.

And honestly?

The exhaustion I've been feeling these past few weeks has been:

πŸ‘‰ really, really deep.

Not just the tired-from-a-long-day kind.

But the kind that lives in your:

  • bones

  • nervous system

  • soul

The kind that comes from:

  • caregiving

  • emotional processing

  • health worries

  • not enough sleep

  • carrying so much for so long

And honestly?

I'm learning that this kind of exhaustion doesn't get better by pushing through it.

It gets better by:

πŸ‘‰ honoring it. πŸ’—

🌿 What Rest Actually Looks Like During This Experiment

I think there's this idea that when you're doing a challenge like this…

every single day has to look the same.

But honestly?

Real life doesn't work that way.

Some days look like:

  • 6 posts and a full workout

  • 10K steps and weights

  • energy and momentum

And some days look like:

  • one post

  • a pharmacy run

  • a nap

  • and choosing grace over guilt

And honestly?

Both of those days count.

Because:

πŸ‘‰ rest is not the opposite of progress. Rest is part of progress. πŸ’—

🌱 What Day 29 Is Teaching Me

Day 29 is teaching me:

  • rest is a valid form of showing up

  • taking care of your health IS part of the journey

  • systems keep working even when you need to pause

  • exhaustion deserves to be honored not pushed through

  • one small act of self care still counts as a win

🌸 Root Chakra Reflection: Giving Yourself What You Actually Need

This season keeps teaching me that:

πŸ‘‰ safety sometimes looks like rest.

Not productivity.

Not consistency streaks.

Not perfect numbers.

Just:

πŸ‘‰ listening to your body.

And giving it what it actually needs.

Whether that's:

  • a prescription picked up

  • a nap taken without guilt

  • a walk skipped without shame

  • or simply a day where you just breathe

And honestly?

I think that is one of the most healing things I've learned through this entire experiment πŸ’—πŸŒ»

πŸ““ Manifestation & Gratitude Journal

On the tired days, writing even just one thing I'm grateful for shifts something πŸ’— A space to honor where you are β€” even when where you are is exhausted and needing rest.

  • Try to get some rest tonight

  • Be gentle with myself as my body heals

  • Come back to walking when I'm ready 🌻

πŸ’¬ Final Thoughts on Day 29

Day 29 was quiet.

And exhausted.

But honest.

And I still showed up β€”

in the way I could,

with what I had,

on a day that asked a lot of me.

And honestly?

πŸ‘‰ that is always going to be enough πŸ’—πŸŒ»
