And honestly?

This one feels a little different to write.

Because yesterday was my grandmother's burial service.

And I took the day to be fully present with my family.

No walking.
No weight lifting.
No hustle.

And honestly?

The old me would have beaten herself up for that.

But this newer version of me?

Because I think it's important.

Yesterday was my grandmother's burial service.

And I made the decision to:

  • not walk

  • not lift weights

  • and just be fully present with my family

And honestly?

The old me would have spiraled about that.

The old me would have thought:

πŸ‘‰ "I should have found a way."

But this newer version of me?

She looked at that rest day and thought:

Because honestly?

I think real healing includes learning that:

  • rest is not failure

  • grief deserves space

  • your family deserves your presence

  • and a missed walk does not undo 55 days of showing up

I think that shift in thinking might be one of the most important parts of this whole journey πŸ’—

I've decided to give myself a little grace this week.

I'm allowing myself the space to:

  • grieve my grandmother's passing

  • rest my body

This 90-day experiment and my entire rebuilding finances in 2026 journey keeps teaching me the same lesson over and over again:

There will be days where all you can do is show up for your family.
